Student Food Pantry

Our Student Food Pantry provides grab-and-go food items available to all USMH students. We recognize many students and their families may not have enough to eat or know where their next meal will come from. The Student Food Pantry is here to remove food insecurity and setup you up for academic success. When your belly is full so is your mind.

When using the pantry, please log the date and number of items received (your name or any identifying information is not required). This will allow us to serve you better.

Location: USMH Student Lounge

What is food insecurity?

Food insecurity is an official term from the USDA. It's when people don't have enough to eat and don't know where their next meal will come from. It's a big problem in the United States, where over 44 million people, including 13 million children, experience food insecurity annually. However, many more people, including millions who do not meet the definition of food insecure—turn to the charitable food sector for support.
