The safety of students, staff, and faculty is a top priority of the administration at the University System of Maryland at Hagerstown (USMH). Campus Alert System
The University System of Maryland at Hagerstown (USMH) campus alert system allows USMH to contact you during an emergency by sending text messages to your e-mail (school, personal, other) or cell phone.
When an emergency occurs, USMH staff will notify you using the Omnilert system with real-time updates and other critical information. In addition to emergencies, this system can be used to communicate weather-related delays & closures and much more.

Inclement Weather
In the event of inclement weather or other emergency conditions, you should follow delays and closures for the "University System of Maryland at Hagerstown," rather than any individual participating USM institution. Closures and delays will be sent over the Omnilert notification system, reported on local radio and television news stations, and shared to our social media pages. You may also call USMH at 240.527.2060 for recorded updates related to closures or delays.
