USMH Scholarships
At USMH, we believe in breaking down financial barriers to help you achieve your academic goals. Thanks to the generosity of our local Washington County community and alumni ambassadors, we offer a range of scholarships designed to support the next generation of USMH graduates.
These scholarships are available through USMH or external opportunities. Each scholarship requires a separate application, so be sure to explore your options.
Remember: If you seek traditional financial aid, you must apply through the institution to which you are accepted. If you want to apply for a scholarship, these are separate, individual applications from the items below. To see how to apply for financial aid through your university, visit the financial aid page.
Eligibility Criteria

Pursuing a bachelor's degree or graduate degree through one of USMH's partner institutions and take classes on the USMH campus.

Minimum GPA of ‘B’ or better

Junior status or higher
Awards may be renewed twice and may be used for tuition, fees, books, or supplies and will be paid to the registrar of the partner institution the awardee attends. All application materials must be submitted by April 15 each year.

USMH Inspire Scholarship
The USMH Inspire Scholarship is a testament to our commitment to making higher education accessible and affordable to our community members and aims to reward prospective students who take the time to experience firsthand the unique educational environment of the USMH campus. The USMH Inspire scholarship, valued at $250, available to prospective students who visit the USMH campus and become enrolled as a new undergraduate or graduate student in a USMH program for the academic year. Students can earn this scholarship during their first semester or enrollment.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the USMH Inspire Scholarship, students must:
- Attend an open house OR schedule and attend a campus visit between September 1, 2023 and April 15, 2024.
- Register your visit by checking in upon arrival AND by completing the Inspire Scholarship application by April 15, 2024.
- Be accepted by one of our USM partner universities and enrolled in a bachelor's or graduate program at the USMH campus for the academic year.
Scholarship Details
The USMH Inspire Scholarship funds will be dispersed directly to the recipient's university student account upon enrollment verification.
