Fiscal Year 2016 Proposed Regional Tuition Rates

HAGERSTOWN, Md.- Beginning Fall 2015, students who attend on-site classes offered at USMH and who reside in one of the neighboring counties to Washington County, Maryland, will benefit from a new out-of-state regional tuition rate structure. The neighboring counties include:

  • West Virginia counties: Morgan, Berkeley, Jefferson
  • Pennsylvania counties: Fulton, Franklin, and Adams
  • Virginia county: Loudoun

The out-of-state regional tuition rate is set at approximately 150% of the existing Maryland resident rates for Towson, Coppin, Salisbury and UMUC. This regional strategy is designed to attract enrollment and secure new programs with keen student interest within the entire region. Students taking FSU courses on-site at USMH will pay the FSU on-campus regional rate.
