Annual Feaste at Yuletide Celebrates Funds for Scholarships

Written by sbrown Posted: 0 Comments

Close to $30,000 was raised for scholarship support for students enrolled in programs offered at USMH during the annual Elizabethtowne Feaste and Frolic gala which was held Friday, December 2nd. The "Feaste at Yuletide" saw a record number of ticket sales this year.

Entertainment was provided by Mary Ann Jung, playing Queen Elizabeth I. Attendees also had fun as they were enticed to play Renaissance period games of chance by game barkers dressed in period garb.

Since the inception of the scholarship program, 150 students have been awarded more than $350,000 in scholarship funds to assist them in attaining their educational and career goals. Last year, 25 students were awarded $2,700 schoalrships.

We are grateful to the many sponsors and to those who purchased tickets to generously support the fund. For a full list of sponsors, please visit our website at www.hagerstown.usmd.edu.
